Halloween

Each year we look forward to Halloween for two very special reasons. First, we love to see the kids that we've watched grow stop by our studio in their Halloween costumes! The kids, once in character, are giddy with excitement! It's hysterical seeing them act out the part with lions roaring, Dorothy skipping, and doggies barking. Second, this is the time of year that we kick off the season of giving by giving each family a 5x7 keepsake portrait for a small donation to charity. This year Diane's church is putting together food baskets that will be delivered to the needy, including many Viet Nam vets. With all the money raised this year, Diane is going on a shopping spree to contribute to those food baskets! We are so psyched to be able to help out such a great cause!

While usually we just photograph the kids, we couldn't resist capturing the whole Lepore ready to walk down the yellow brick road! While the kids look adorable as the scarecrow and the cowardly lion, we are impressed with the planning and spirit of Sabrina and Matt that would make this a Halloween to remember!

Little Brady is getting ready to follow his mom's footsteps preparing for a life in and love for theater! We first photographed Brady for his 1 year portrait! His family came to us through a special promotion we had done with Pumpkin Patch ELC. We're so excited to photograph Brady as he is coming into his own little personality.

Props to Mary Levine for making her son Andrew's costume this year! She did an incredible job of making Andrew King of the Wild Things! What an appropriate costume this year with the movie just coming out and with the new addition of a baby wild thing to the Levine family, Sammy. That was just too cute!

No holiday would be complete without a visit from the Brooks family. We are so fortunate to have photographed Madeleine and Robert since they were babies, and all the occasions since...bunnies, birthdays, Halloween, Christmas... It's like they were born ready for the camera. They bring such smiles and laughter to our faces as we capture their joyful personalities. Melissa is always so attentive to every detail as you see with the kids' costumes this year. I just want to hug that little lion! And look at Dorothy from the basket with Toto, the braids, down to the nail polish and sparkling red slippers!

Thank you to all the families that came out for photos, gave donations, and brought joy to our hearts! This was our "treat" for Halloween!
